I shot this clown in Houston's Montrose area during a street festival. The original image was shot with a Canon FT-b on slide film then scanned to a digital file. The file was then processed in a Topaz Photoshop plugin to bring out the detail in the wig and the face paint.
All of my experience as a freelance photographer was film-based until I picked up a point & shoot digital camera in 2006. I utilize some of my old slide images that have been digitized as well as images shot with my Fuji F100FD. The images are processed in a number of software applications, but mostly using a Photoshop clone (Serif PhotoPlus X6) and Topaz Labs plugins.
